Year-End Grand Prize | ZDATA Wins "2024 China IDC Industry Green Computing Power Infrastructure Award"

On December 19, the 19th China IDC Industry Annual Convention (IDCC2024) was grandly held at Beijing Shougang Park, themed "Diversified Reconstruction, Computing Power Leap." As a renowned event in the computing power industry, it aimed to delve into trends, technological innovations, business models, and ecosystem development in the computing power sector from diverse perspectives, ushering in a new decade for the industry. Distinguished attendees included Academician Wu Hequan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, He Baohong (Director of the Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology), industry scholars, technical experts, corporate executives, end-users, and overseas data center operator representatives. The event attracted over 10,000 on-site participants, with hundreds of thousands more watching the livestream via online platforms.

To uncover and promote exemplary industry practices, drive the sector toward higher standards, and honor enterprises, projects, and teams that have made outstanding contributions to computing power innovation, green computing practices, and global expansion, the convention hosted the 2024 "China IDC Industry Annual Awards" ceremony. The 2024 awards underwent a rigorous selection process, including preliminary document reviews, public voting, expert evaluations, and final approval by the organizing committee. Among numerous submissions, ZDATA’s Green Big Data Industrial Base Project stood out and was awarded the "2024 China IDC Industry Green Computing Power Infrastructure Award."

Located in Yanggao County’s Longquan Industrial Park, Datong City, Shanxi Province, the ZDATA Green Big Data Industrial Base Project integrates cloud data centers, "Internet + cloud computing," and a big data industrial chain, combining multifunctional capabilities for big data and cloud computing. The data center adheres to principles of high reliability, high security, and high environmental friendliness, adopting internationally advanced green and energy-saving technologies. Its modular and flexible system configurations fully meet energy efficiency, environmental protection, and emission reduction requirements, ensuring long-term technological leadership. The project was successfully selected as a 2023 National Green Data Center. Notably, the base’s D7 Data Center received the Uptime Institute Tier III Design Certification, while its D3 Data Center achieved Uptime Institute’s M&O (Management & Operations) Certification. These accolades mark a solid step forward for ZDATA in global digital infrastructure services. Additionally, the project earned the SOC 2 Type II Certification, a testament to its strict compliance with international security standards in data center hosting services, further cementing its industry leadership and global influence.

Each honor reflects the industry’s recognition of ZDATA’s excellence. As digital transformation accelerates and AI thrives, the computing power sector faces multifaceted challenges. Moving forward, ZDATA will collaborate with industry peers to usher in a high-quality, sustainable future.
